You’re BOTH wrong! Praxis is – was, will be, whatever – a Klingon moon. Their primary energy-production facility. Until it explodes, at the beginning of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

Were Help Wanted ads for male/female some great crime?

Was it impossible for McArdle to do what she does without the feminist activists of her mother’s era, presumably the 1970s?

My mother got executive jobs in the 1960’s, not because she was a feminist, but because she needed money.

These days – and it actually began decades ago – you could get in trouble for listing a home for sale with “a great view” because that somehow insults blind people. Indeed, newspapers etc may not even accept such an ad, because they can get in trouble too!

    A bit of language warning.

I think that’s offensive in many more ways than just a bit of language. Not that I’m complaining. I’m an adult. I can handle it. Just don’t show it to John Wick.

Good lord. Megan’s attempt to use government intervention to eradicate Jim Crow in the 1960s as some kind of precedent for coercive pay equity in women’s soccer in 2019 … was absolutely bugnuts crazy.

    Borderline surreal, in fact.

Hard to take someone seriously that doesn’t know how to pronounce FIFA. The problem with all the soccer talk is that everyone seems to take the perspective of Americans for a global game. Try to think of how this conversation would go in Brazil. Everywhere else in the world it would be like talking about the pay differences between men’s and women’s baseball.
