Good grief. Michelle was a horrible First Lady. Extravagant needless travel where she dressed badly. The vegetable garden was a big fraud. Where is her vegetable garden now? America is a “mean country”. I could go on and on. Melania has been a pleasant surprise. She has dignity and poise. I don’t feel sorry for her. She made a deal with Trump and she is holding up her part.

I am a Never Trumper but Molly’s meanderings on Page were ridiculous. Thank you to Christina and Danielle for pushing back some. Page and Strok were foolish and unprofessional at best and malevolent partisans at worst. Yes Trump behaves badly but so did they. I don’t excuse any of them.

Boo hoo! An FBI lawyer investigating Trump says her life has been destroyed. In her circle I think this would be a badge of honor. Also, she says the FBI didn’t “protect” her. She and her lover make all kinds of inappropriate remarks on government phones. Why would they protect her?

OMG! The Femsplainers are sometimes good and sometimes rather facile. This podcast was so superficial and, well pretty bogus. Melania is a good mob wife, she is compromising herself by staying in the marriage. Michelle was a great First Lady. It must be so hard for “poor George Conway” watching his wife help Trump destroy the country. How about poor Kellyanne whose husband publicly criticizes her and embarrasses her every day?

“Life has been destroyed” should probably be read as: getting a multimillion dollar advance on a, shall we say, selectively honest autobiography, which is extolled by the liberal media, and made into a movie in which she is played by Nicole Kidman.

I’m still listening, but at least as of 26:00 the account of Page and Strzok is outrageously sanitized.

She mentions that P&S got in trouble over texts, but carefully avoids describing what was in them, like the “insurance policy” against a Trump victory. Trump has every reason to see them as conspirators plotting to destroy him, either before or after the election.

Nor does she mention that Page and Strzok were married — to other people — when they had their affair.

Its the first time that I’ve heard Molly Jong-Fast speak. Is it weird that she sounds exactly like I imagined she would?

Really a fun-gossipy type interview was a wasted opportunity. While I can see how you had to stipulate to some softballs to get Molly to agree to an interview, I would’ve liked some tougher questions to have been asked – or have had a wider ranging conservation.

I want to compliment you ladies for making some effort to set the record straight in the discussion with Ms. Jong-Fast.

When asked to give a background of the Strozk-Page texts and firing, your guest mentioned the affair aspect of the texts, but somehow completely managed to avoid mentioning the political aspect, the seething anti-Trump stuff, the “We’ll stop [Trump from winning]” and “insurance policy” talk. Had you allowed your guest to tell the story her own way, one would assume that Strozk and Page are in the news because of an office romance.

I found it hard to take Ms. Jong-Fast seriously after that casual elision.

Anyone who listens to the interview will notice how, immediately after she was confronted with the political aspect of the texts — and, again, kudos for that — she became much less collected, and began rambling, ultimately resorting to the “her life is destroyed” mantra. Because, presumably, mean tweets from a notoriously pugnacious President are somehow comparable to conspiring to undermine an election (assuming that’s what she was doing, though the jury is still out).
