Of course the Covid-19 Coronavirus began in China and the recent efforts to downplay that fact or even deny it plays right into Beijing’s propaganda efforts. The Daily Beast’s Gordon Chang joins Larry O’Connor to discuss what the Beijing regime is trying to do and what the facts are. National Review’s Victor Davis Hanson discusses the “war” against the Coronavirus and the president’s efforts to joining public and private efforts together to get through the crisis.

As both Gordon Chang and Victor Davis Hanson point out, we are learning the hard way that a closed, regimented society like China is not a good trading partner.
